Join me for this capacity-building workshop with Slow Food International via Zoom in Western Visayas, Philippines to discuss methodologies, tools and guidelines with the Slow Food community of Negros and Panay. How can chefs, home-stays, hotels, inns, food outlets, tour operators, and park conservation activities positively affect the livelihoods of those who defend the land and waterways as farmers and fishers? This dynamite lineup will address a myriad of issues that transect the community economic development space where food meets commerce. I will discuss specifically the role of farmers markets (and in particular the Slow Food-curated Earth Markets).
