The Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center plays host to this networking event, organized by the HealthBridge Foundation of Canada, Project for Public Spaces, and Slow Food International. We explore a model that is emerging from Hanoi to London, Barcelona to Kampala. Municipal government, market leaders and NGOs are finding new ways to utilize the ancient mechanism of public markets as strategic pressure points to preserve food cultures, traditions and economies.
